Caring for patients at home has never been more important and Optician wants to recognise those people and practices offering this vital care. This award will reward a practitioner, team or practice demonstrating excellence in bringing eye care to patients who would otherwise struggle to find care or go untreated. The judges will be looking for evidence of a service that reaches out to house-bound patients and delivers the care they need. Entrants should provide evidence to show how their service is made available to patients and why the at-home care offered is of the highest quality. The judges will be interested to see the processes employed such as marketing, visits, equipment and scope of care provided.
